Cosimo Fusco is an Italian actor born on September 23, 1962 in Matera, Italy. He is best known for his role as Paola's father in the popular Netflix series "The Queen's Gambit" and as the Cardinal in the hit TV series "Money Heist" (La Casa de Papel). Fusco has also appeared in numerous films and TV shows, such as "Angels & Demons," "The Bourne Ultimatum," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."

Fusco studied acting at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and began his career in Italian theater before transitioning to film and television. He has appeared in many stage productions in Italy as well as internationally.
